Capiche was born in La Grange, IL and raised in the city suburbs of Chicago, where his passion for “Conscious Hip Hop” was born. Involvement in Hip Hop culture and a deep focus on writing new rhymes kept Capiche from getting caught up in the tough city streets. After a decade in the game and a move out to Las Vegas, he became focused on the technical aspect of producing music; he built Raw Works Studios so he could bring his “Conscious Music” to life. In 2013 his first album “Conscious Music” featuring compilations with artists and producers worldwide was released and has become a global hit.
The concept of global unity amongst Hip Hop artists worldwide is the driving force behind Capiche. Doing compilations with artists globally and showing the world that Hip Hop is a universal language that can be seen, heard, and felt by all even when there are cultural barriers. No matter where in the world you are, you will find MCs, DJs, Bboys and grafitti artists. These are the essential elements of Hip Hop culture, which is centered on the visualization of the moment and the movement toward the artistic expression of one self. “Love, Unity and having fun!” is the way of Hip Hop. Now the plan is to take this movement worldwide, connect with artists around the globe and come together to share the knowledge, collaborate and grow as ONE!
