Об альбоме (сборнике)

In this recording Kjell has gathered some of his favourite musicians round the Hammond B3 in a selection of his favourite jazz evergreens. It is interesting to note that in recent years there has been a massive revival of the authentic Hammond B3 organ in jazz, rock and blues.
The other artists taking part are world famous guitarist Rune Gustafsson, Denmark's Mads Vinding on bass, Leif Gus Dahlberg, drums, and last but not least, as special guest for six numbers, Arne Domnerus, alto sax!
Super Hammond! Steaming hot in every way is The Hammond Connection, featuring Hammond organ in Kjell Ohman and his friends. All of them, not least Kjell himself, seem to be in the very best of swing tempers. Some numbers also feature that master of alto sax Arne Domnerus, who just seems to go on getting better and better. His playing in Benny Carter's beautiful ballad The Favour of the Fool is in itself worth buying the record for.
