Hyperboloid is a title for new work by Russian ambient project Astral Shit. Six tracks it consists of form thick sound canvas of tense and uneasy drone ambient. It benefits from commendable depth and attention to myriads of fine sound details which eventually create multidimensional web of many basic sound layers.
The album is composed with huge amount of sound samples which were processed in MAX For Live and MAX/MSP Field recordings and various samples from analogue video and audio tapes were used as well.
It's recommended to be listening when dreaming and walking outdoors.
