This is the debut of Mick Chillage on FAX. Pete Namlook: When I first heard the demo I was blown away... I was wondering if this was a live show of Tetsu Inoue and me ... so close and yet a very own creation of music that it totally reminds of the 90ies music that made FAX +49-69/450464 a trademark in Electronic Music. Right before the 20th anniversary this album came at the right time forming a great and fresh reminiscence of what for Pete is part of his past, present and future.
Mick Chillage: I guess the album is truly a homage to Fax, I have always had a great interest in intelligent Science Fiction like 2001, Blade Runner, Alien, THX1138 etc and when I first heard the sound of Fax it really connected with me, it was like an alternative soundtrack to these movies but it goes beyond that, there is a certain spiritual, emotional side too which is very important in music...
Mick Chillage and Paul Chillage from Ireland have been doing the Chillage Idiots show dedicated to electronic music on radio since feb 1996. They now do monthly podcasts.
